Audio-Visual Emotion Recognition

12:00 pm - 6:00 pm

  • This work seeks to introduce emotion recognition from audio-visual recordings. Two modalities are considered: facial expressions and speech features. The proposed emotion recognition technique is based on Deep Learning models, including CNN, attention-pretrained models for emotion extraction from speech, and LSTM for emotion recognition from speech. A fusion is performed at the decision level to determine the emotion expressed in the audio-visual recording.
